One day diving on The Great Barrier Reef is never enough, so join Pro Dive Cairns on a liveaboard dive trip, and spend three-days and two-nights exploring one of the seven Natural Wonders of the World. You will visit a variety of outer Great Barrier Reef locations, all selected for their extravagance of marine life and excellent visibility.
This personalised adventure offers an opportunity to participate in up to 11 dives, including two-night dives, as well as some great snorkelling on a variety of our 19 exceptional Outer Reef dive sites over four magnificent reefs: Flynn, Thetford, Milln and Pellowe Reefs. Diving at different times throughout the day, you will be able to encounter an amazing diversity of marine life including giant clams, majestic sea turtles, graceful stingrays, reef sharks, an incredible variety of tropical fish, spectacular coral formations and consistent underwater visibility. Night diving will introduce a whole new dimension of nocturnal life.
Between dives, relax in comfort on board one of our three premium Scubapro dive boats; these purpose-built liveaboard dive vessels; these feature air-conditioned twin or double cabins, spacious decks, catered meals, and the comforts of home. With small passenger numbers and close crew-to-guest ratios, a high-quality, personalised experience from our dedicated staff is ensured at all times.
Departing Cairns every day except Tuesday this three-day, two-night liveaboard trip offers a truly memorable and exciting way to fully immerse yourself and experience our magnificent World Heritage Great Barrier Reef environment.
Please Note: some medical conditions may prevent you diving and you will be required to complete a waiver and medical statement prior to the trip. If you have recently/continue to suffer from an illness or condition that may affect your dive fitness, or currently taking any prescription medication, you will need to consult a doctor for a 'fit to dive' medical certificate.

We recommend that you visit our retail shop located on the corner of Grafton and Shields streets the night before your trip to arrange the diving/snorkelling equipment, ensure the necessary paperwork is in order and to ensure your certification details are correct. The shop is open from Monday to Sunday 12pm to 6pm.
Please note, the below itinerary is a guide only, and the order of sites may change. The skipper will always adapt the plan to the prevailing weather, tides and currents.

07:00 Depart Cairns
Depart Cairns for 3 days and 2 nights of fantastic diving/snorkelling on The Great Barrier Reef. A light breakfast is served onboard.
11:00 Dive 1
Your first dive is before lunch. A dive guide will be offered for those divers who have not dived in a while. This is an opportunity for you to acclimatise to the diving conditions, and fine-tune your skills if it has been some time since your last dive.

14:30 Dive 2
Head off and discover more underwater delights. Once you have completed your dive, the vessel moves on to the next site.

After an afternoon of relaxing, it is time for your third dive of the trip

We try to do the night dive at the same site as the afternoon dive, as this way you are familiar with your surroundings.

Your safety and comfort is our number one priority. Please let our experienced instructors know if you are worried, stressed or not feeling well at any point.
Some medical conditions may prevent you from diving. If you answer 'yes' to any of the questions below you will need to consult a doctor and provide us with a medical certificate stating you are “fit to dive” prior to your dive trip:
- Since completing your last dive medical assessment have you suffered any illness or injury that may affect your ability to dive safely?
- Are you currently suffering any illness or injury?
- Are you currently taking any prescription medication other than the contraceptive pill?
- Is there any other condition, fact or circumstance that may affect your fitness or ability to dive safely?
We recommend that you do not fly within 24 hours of diving. The earliest you should fly is 12 pm (midday) on the day after your trip concludes.
You can cancel your dive trip for any reason at any time up to 48 hours before commencement and receive a full refund of all money paid to Pro Dive Cairns. There is no refund for any reason after this time. If you plan to book through a travel agent, please ask if they have any cancellation fees. We recommend that all customers have travel insurance.
The number of dives may vary subject to weather and/or other unforeseen circumstances.
A Government Environmental Management Charge, Port Departure Tax and administration fee are included in your total fare. The breakdown of cost is provided in the rates table.

Signed up to dive the GBR with ProDive because they were the only service to offer a dive trip within the length of time I'd available and at a price that didn't break the bank. I wasn't sure what to expect, but after the completion of my time on the 3-day/2-night liveaboard cruise, I would recommend ProDive to any traveler! Some highlights from the trip:-Solo traveler, but made friends with other divers and staff immediately starting with hotel pick-up. -Advanced Open Water certification offered on-board & my dive buddy and I signed up immediately! Amazing price for this very expensive upgrade certification. -Delicious food. Never went hungry!-Expert instructors who don't get paid enough for the work they do. ProDive is able to keep rates low because their staff does everything -- briefs the diving location, instructs upgrading and new students, cleans the parlor area after meals & washes dishes, cleans the living areas after the cruise, operates the shuttles! -Moored on incredible reefs and saw leatherback / hawksbill / green sea turtles, multiple sharks, clownfish, giant clams, a plethora of parrotfish, moray eels, stingrays, and all of Nemos friends! I'd dive with any of the ProDive staff any day of the week, but Flo really gets a special shout-out from me. As we started to descend to complete our deep dive for AoW, I was unable to equalize and I aborted the dive. After completing the dive with the rest of the students, Flo offered to do a 1-on-1 during the next diving session in which we were able to go slow and let my ears sort themselves out. It was an incredibly safe and controlled descent and probably one of the most magical dives of the 11! She is a true lover of the sport and ambassador of the GBR. Hope you get the opportunity to learn from her as I did!

I want to thank Pro Dive for an amazing experience, for the value of such an experience both personally and within the economic valueI would also like to express as a 56 year old how amazing my instructor and dive master, Satoshi was, he took his time in a space that had to fit a lot of knowledge and training within a short amount of time.What Satoshi gifts is a formal knowledge and an ability to share this knowledge calmly and without frustration, a sometimes rare trait in today's fast paced environment... he would often take that breath to explain, show and listen to each of us and our individual needs. He also gifts a beautiful sense of play, his play is sensitive, and is in no way showing off; he offers an experience of flow within his play, encouraging us students to breathe and find our own sense of curiosity. Lastly Satoshi encouraged us, he gave us permission to learn through a somatic expressionâby both talking and showing us the things we needed to learn, he then took the time to allow each of us to find our own unique sense of learning, he listened and watched us, encouraging even within our mistakes.I appreciate that he took me as an elder diver under his wing, Satoshi never stopped encouraging me, giving me confidence to keep experiencing.I also want to say everyone at Pro Dive were amazing... the boat was great, the food fantastic, beds comfortable, knowledge of the reef and inclusion of everyone into a team is very special.And everyone at the store, booking in and helping me was greatThank you again for a very special 56 birthday Kindness Gav

Loved my time aboard the pro dive boat. I was on the 3d 2n live aboard as a certified diver. The crew were excellent and made you feel welcome definently recommend this company keep youre eye out for Angus the captain hes a great guy and got us too and from the reef safely
